Negroni on the Rocks

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

Negroni has been one of the world's most popular cocktails for many years. Originally created in Florence, Italy in 1919, Negroni is an incredibly easy to make with equal parts of just three ingredients. As a spirit-forward drink, it is best served with a large, clear ice cube. Using a big cube will not dilute your drink or make it taste watery, keeping it full of flavour from the first sip to the last.

Next time you serve Negroni's for your friends and family, pour it over a Big Rock ice cube - we guarantee that even your father-in-law will be impressed!

Now, let's learn how to make the best Negroni you've ever had.

List of Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 25ml gin

  • 25ml Campari

  • 25ml sweet vermouth

  • Garnish: orange peel

  • Ice: Big Rock to serve, classic ice cubes to stir

Step 1: Let's Get Started

Take one Big Rock out of the freezer and place in an old-fashioned glass.

Pour the gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth into a mixing glass. Stir well with a handful of classic ice cubes.

Step 2: Pour & Serve

Once the freezer frost has disappeared from the Big Rock, pour the Negroni over the Big Rock and garnish with an orange peel. Sip slowly and enjoy your perfect, ice-cold Negroni.
